Chrome OS 95 was skipped by Google as part of their transition from a six-week update cycle to a four-week cycle.

Scan documents using your camera

You can now scan documents with your Chromebook camera. The camera automatically identifies, captures, and crops your documents, then you can save them as a PDF or a picture. Just open your Chromebook’s Camera app and press the “Scan” button to get started.

Natural voices for Select-to-speak

You might already use Select-to-speak to hear text read out loud on Chromebooks. Now you can choose from a range of more natural sounding voices that help spoken text be more fluid and easy to understand. These are helpful for people with dyslexia, low vision or other print disabilities. Select your preferred voice in accessibility settings.

Easily organize your browser tabs into desks

It’s now easier to see which Chrome browser windows are in the same virtual desk, and move tabs between windows to the right place on the first try. Just right click on your browser tab, select “Move tab to another window”, and you’ll see your windows grouped by which virtual desk they are in.
